For the first time, Hitomi is offering Pre & Post Workshop Mentoring for those students who want to get the most out of their learning experience!
‘Since the pandemic, I have experimented with and developed different options in terms of learning opportunities for floral designers across the globe. I’ve been lucky enough to teach virtually with world-known designers such as Gregor Lersch (Germany) and Per Benjamin (Sweden) over the past 3 years, and have realized the benefits and upsides that virtual learning can serve! That is why when returning to in-person learning, I wanted students to have an virtual add-on option for additional support and mentoring!‘
By choosing the add-on ‘Virtual Sessions’ Registration Option, you will not only be registered for Hitomi’s August Hands-On Workshop, but also (5) additional Private 1-on-1 Virtual Mentor Sessions* with Hitomi as well! These 5 Sessions can be spread out based on your schedule, either before or after August’s in-person class (or both!). It’s a perfect opportunity to be prepared and focused on specific skills leading up to class, as well as to have the opportunity for follow-up sessions after class with Hitomi.
*Each Virtual Mentor Session is approx 1hr in length.

The Classroom.
We are lucky in Vancouver to have the facilities at United Floral Inc.
United Flower Growers (UFG) is a cooperative association of flower grower members that was established in 1963. Currently home to North America’s largest flower auction, the co-op of currently over 80 local flower growers from Vancouver Island to the Fraser Valley. The large facility is also home to United Floral Inc, Western Canada’s premier floral wholesaler of both Fresh Flowers & Floral Supplies. In 2015, United Floral opened its doors to a state-of-art education centre which has served as Hitomi’s home base classroom ever since. An arm’s reach away from a vast selection of hard goods and fresh products alike, makes the United Floral Education Centre unlike any other in Canada.
